Your grades will appear in the term your grade is RECORDED BY THE REGISTRAR AS COMPLETED. Please be sure your course work is submitted in plenty of time to be graded and recorded in the term you desire, if it is important.
A maximum of 45 credits per year is allowed and must be distributed throughout the terms as follows:
Winter – 6 credits
Spring – 12 credits
Summer – 15 credits
Fall – 12 Credits
Eligibility:
Courses offered through the ACT Program are specifically designed to meet professional growth and salary advancement requirements of educators who have earned at least a bachelors degree and appropriate teaching credentials. However, other professionals including those involved in social work, law enforcement, private learning situations and others whose salary advancement may rely on the accumulation of professional development credits will equally benefit and are welcome to enroll in ACT Program courses. You are urged, however, to check with your district or credit evaluation entity to make sure the courses will benefit you as expected.
These courses may be eligible for credit under the "No Child Left Behind" guidelines. You are strongly advised to check with your school district or credit evaluation entity to determine if this type of credit will be approved for your specific needs, as requirements vary and tuition is nonrefundable.
Responsibility Standards:
Actions are taken and requirements are met in order to ensure that all course work is original and performed by the student including signed time records, receipts (where applicable) and accountability safeguards.
Special Promotions for Reduced Tuition
Occasionally, ACT will offer a limited time promotion for a reduced tuition. These special offers are for a limited time only and are associated with a specific promotion code. In order to receive the promoted tuition rate, the code MUST be given at time of enrollment, no exceptions, and cannot be applied retroactively. Tuition is non-refundable.
