Most
Traditional ACT courses are all
home study (no classroom attendance involved) and include
interesting books, tapes (audio, video) CDs or DVDs, special projects
and assignments associated with each. Some will also include visits
to sites specifically significant to the subject studied.
These visits are done entirely on your own. Credits earned may be one,
three or four, based on the course. Tuition
is $95 per credit
which includes all the materials needed to complete
a course. You may enroll anytime, and will have up to a year to complete
your assignments and submit your course for grading. Your
grade will be recorded in the term you complete the course.

Situations arise where you may create units of study through

projects for your classrooms or for in-service presentations or community
projects related to your profession. It’s called “Individualized
Study,” and now you can receive from 1 to 4 semester units of professional
