The Web World of Math
Description
Teaching in this era of fast-paced, mediated children’s entertainment puts a burden on teachers to hold a student’s attention, especially those in mathematics. This course will guide you through a mix of Internet math resources for basic math, algebra, calculus, trig, and fractals. Also, you’ll learn to use the Internet to heighten interest, demonstrate concepts and just “drill and practice” using a medium familiar and exciting to them.

These courses help you learn to use various internet research tools step-by-step from the basics so you become a proficient Internet researcher on any topic, and to explore and discover huge library of information educationally useful information that is available on the Internet on topics you can apply to your role as teacher, counselor, or administrator. All courses in this series are three semester hours and available as online or e-Courses.
