Description

This course is made up almost exclusively of onsite art museum visits. The Nation’s Capitol is rich with some of the most beautiful and rare art of the world, and to make a visit with art on one’s mind will be satisfying and gratifying. You will visit, among others, various branches of the Smithsonian Museum, and also be able to choose to visit a museum of your choice.

This is a non-classroom, self-directed, independent study courses, which may include DVDs, CDs, audio/video tapes or other materials and assignments to be returned by mail. Some traditional courses are all home study, others require visits to various locations in the area being studied, and some offer a choice of both. You may earn between one and four semester hours of credit for a Traditional Course, depending on the course you choose.
