Meteorology: Weather Forecasting

Description

Weather forecasting used to be solely the domain of the professional meteorologist. However, with the advent of the World Wide Web, it has become possible for scientifically literate people to access real-time weather data, and forecast weather. At the conclusion of this course, you will be able to explain the cause of weather, explain how atmospheric variables are measured and the factors that affect them, explain the movement of air masses and associated front, read a weather map, interpret satellite photographs, and make a short-term weather forecast.
