Global Cooling: A Heated Debate

Description

Everyone’s heard about global warming, but what about the more recent discussions that dispute this theory and give argument to the fact that perhaps, instead, the Earth is cooling? This course explores this dispute with fascinating texts and NASA articles, then you will be taken out of the realm of academics and into the real world with a final project.

Course Type

This is a non-classroom, self-directed, independent study courses, which may include DVDs, CDs, audio/video tapes or other materials and assignments to be returned by mail. Some traditional courses are all home study, others require visits to various locations in the area being studied, and some offer a choice of both. You may earn between one and four semester hours of credit for a Traditional Course, depending on the course you choose.
