In this course, you will explore connections of all kinds: some purely fun and primarily introductory to the idea of making connections, and others more serious precursors to composition. You will do this first by “looking at things that at first glance seem unrelated, and finding different ways to link them”; second, by examining and then creating new revelatory metaphors; third, by creating an imaginary dialog around a serious theme; and fourth, by composing a piece about your life in terms of an exploratory/probing metaphor.
