Gifted Children I - Literature and Writing

Description

This course is designed to introduce you to a playfully serious approach to teaching literature and writing to gifted students. Consider yourself to BE the gifted student participating in a literature unit entitled “Dark Affinities,” which explores the theme of darkness as it is found in a number of diverse works of writing and art.

Course Type

This is a non-classroom, self-directed, independent study courses, which may include DVDs, CDs, audio/video tapes or other materials and assignments to be returned by mail. Some traditional courses are all home study, others require visits to various locations in the area being studied, and some offer a choice of both. You may earn between one and four semester hours of credit for a Traditional Course, depending on the course you choose.
