The French-Indian War

Description

Perhaps the least understood war in American history is this one, the French and Indian War. Yet it had a profound impact upon a new and emerging nation. It also marked the emergence of George Washington as a major player in the history of that nation. This course also relates the vital role played by the Native Americans in the war, especially the Iroquois Nation.

Course Type

This is a non-classroom, self-directed, independent study courses, which may include DVDs, CDs, audio/video tapes or other materials and assignments to be returned by mail. Some traditional courses are all home study, others require visits to various locations in the area being studied, and some offer a choice of both. You may earn between one and four semester hours of credit for a Traditional Course, depending on the course you choose.
