As the human population continues to grow, the agriculture and meat industries have had to respond by increasing their output. This increase in food production does not come without a price. Mad cow disease, pesticide residues, antibiotic resistance, food additives, and food poisoning are but a few of the concerns facing consumers today. This course will investigate the causes, effects and solutions to these problems in an attempt to separate fact from myth.
