Earth: Two Million Years from Now

Description

This course takes a unique and exciting look at the Earth in 5 million, 100 million and 200 million years from now. It did not simply spring from the mind of a writer of science fiction, but from the joint efforts of eminent scientists in this field. It is as accurate as they can predict. You will see Tortatons weighing 120 tons, flish which are modified fish that fly and prey on sea life, squid that live in trees and other amazing creatures. Plus, what the Earth itself may look like and how life may adapt.

Course Type

This is a non-classroom, self-directed, independent study courses, which may include DVDs, CDs, audio/video tapes or other materials and assignments to be returned by mail. Some traditional courses are all home study, others require visits to various locations in the area being studied, and some offer a choice of both. You may earn between one and four semester hours of credit for a Traditional Course, depending on the course you choose.
