Description

Examine the long association of man and dog and how it evolved, including several theories. Dogs exhibit the most breeds of any mammal, yet evolved from a single source – the wolf. The course also looks at one man’s attempt to save the stray dogs in his city in a never-ending quest that tells a heartwarming story.

Course Type

This is a non-classroom, self-directed, independent study courses, which may include DVDs, CDs, audio/video tapes or other materials and assignments to be returned by mail. Some traditional courses are all home study, others require visits to various locations in the area being studied, and some offer a choice of both. You may earn between one and four semester hours of credit for a Traditional Course, depending on the course you choose.
