Chicago: Art in the Windy City

Description

The art of Chicago will come alive for you as you investigate the sights and scenes in “The Windy City”. Viewing the film, Inspirations, allows you to explore the work habits and styles of seven artists. Using the web sites, you will view spectacular art found in this city. Researching an artist of your choice, then reading The Philosophy of Andy Warhol (From A to B and Back Again) by this well-known pop icon and Eight Great Impressionist and Post-Impressionist Paintings will complete your study of Chicago art. The one credit section of this course personally takes you to the magnificent Art Institute of Chicago and a short walk to view the Picasso sculpture.
