Biodiesel Power: Will It Work?

Description

In light of the ongoing debate over the extent of our fossil fuel reserves, biodiesel and other alternative power sources are becoming of increasing importance. This course examines the manufacturing process of biodiesel, the costs, public and government attitudes toward it, and the longterm feasibility of its use.

Course Type

This is a non-classroom, self-directed, independent study courses, which may include DVDs, CDs, audio/video tapes or other materials and assignments to be returned by mail. Some traditional courses are all home study, others require visits to various locations in the area being studied, and some offer a choice of both. You may earn between one and four semester hours of credit for a Traditional Course, depending on the course you choose.
