If you had the chance to study in great detail the game of basketball under the greatest coach of all time, John Wooden, would you take it? That is what this course is all about. Coach Wooden takes you through the UCLA offense in his careful fashion, through a detailed book and a DVD with Swen Nater, covering all aspects of basketball – both physical and mental. He also teaches you his philosophy of what is success and how to cope with the ups and downs of the game.

Course Type

This is a non-classroom, self-directed, independent study courses, which may include DVDs, CDs, audio/video tapes or other materials and assignments to be returned by mail. Some traditional courses are all home study, others require visits to various locations in the area being studied, and some offer a choice of both. You may earn between one and four semester hours of credit for a Traditional Course, depending on the course you choose.
