Description

Experiencing the most significant places and events of America’s history wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Baltimore and its Inner Harbor where, among many other events, the writing of the Star-Spangled Banner was inspired. This course‘s many onsite visits and engrossing texts will bring you up close and personal with World War II – its cause and effect, and its impact on America as we know it today.

Course Type

This is a non-classroom, self-directed, independent study courses, which may include DVDs, CDs, audio/video tapes or other materials and assignments to be returned by mail. Some traditional courses are all home study, others require visits to various locations in the area being studied, and some offer a choice of both. You may earn between one and four semester hours of credit for a Traditional Course, depending on the course you choose.
